Everything you need to know
about how we work.We source participants through our own network of healthcare professionals and patients, and a group of specialist recruiters operating across key markets globally. Every participant goes through a qualification process against the specific criteria of your project before they are confirmed.
Where a participant falls short of the agreed criteria, we replace them promptly and at no additional cost. We have been on the other side of that conversation enough times to know how much it matters.
We support research across all major global markets, working through specialist local recruiters who understand the healthcare landscape in each region. If you have a specific market in mind, the best starting point is a conversation about your requirements.
We work across all therapy areas. Our network has experience spanning oncology, rare diseases, CNS, cardiovascular, immunology, vaccines, medical devices and beyond. If your project requires a highly specialised audience, we will tell you honestly what is achievable before you commit.
Every project is priced according to the specific requirements — audience, market, methodology and timeline all affect the investment. We provide clear, itemised proposals so you know exactly what you are paying for and why.
All project details are treated with strict confidentiality as standard. We operate under non-disclosure agreements where required, and project information is never shared beyond the team directly involved in delivery. Participants are briefed on confidentiality requirements before any engagement takes place, and are never made aware of the end client unless explicitly agreed.
Tell us about your project. We will come back to you with an honest assessment of what is achievable, a proposed approach and a clear timeline. There is no obligation and no lengthy onboarding process.
You will be invited to take part in research commissioned by leading healthcare consultancies, research agencies and life sciences organisations. Projects vary in format and commitment — some involve a single interview or advisory discussion, others may include surveys, online forums or multi-session advisory boards. In every case, you will be given full details before you agree to participate.
Yes. All participants receive a fair honorarium that reflects the time commitment and level of expertise involved. Compensation details are confirmed before you agree to participate in any engagement, and payment is made promptly following completion.
We only contact you when a project matches your specific area of expertise or experience. We do not send blanket invitations, and there is no obligation to accept any opportunity you are offered.
Your details are handled in accordance with applicable confidentiality obligations and the guidelines set out by relevant industry bodies. Your information is never shared with end clients without your explicit consent, and you will always be fully briefed before agreeing to participate.
We welcome people with direct experience of a health condition, as well as caregivers and family members who support someone living with one. Every project is different, and we match participants to opportunities that are genuinely relevant to their experience.
Most projects involve a conversation with a researcher — usually by video call or phone — where you share your experience. Some projects may involve a short survey or online questionnaire instead. You will always receive full details before you agree to take part.
Yes. All participants receive a thank you payment that reflects the time and effort involved. The amount is confirmed before you commit to anything, and payment is made promptly after the engagement is complete. If you would prefer, we can arrange for your compensation to be made as a donation to a charity of your choice instead.
Your personal details are never shared with anyone outside the research team, and you will never be identified in any research output. All projects are conducted in accordance with applicable data protection and confidentiality obligations. You can withdraw at any time without any obligation to explain why.
Before any engagement, participants are asked to declare any potential conflicts of interest relevant to the subject matter of the research. Where a conflict is identified, the participant is excluded from that project. This process is completed before any research discussion takes place.
All participants provide informed consent before taking part in any research engagement. They are given clear information about the nature of the project, how their contributions will be used, and their right to withdraw at any time without consequence. Consent is documented and retained in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
SubjectRX processes personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and, where applicable, the EU GDPR and equivalent legislation in other markets. Personal data is collected only for legitimate research purposes, retained only for as long as necessary, and never sold or shared with third parties outside the research engagement.
All project information is treated as strictly confidential. Participants are briefed on confidentiality requirements before any engagement. End client details are never disclosed to participants unless explicitly agreed in advance. SubjectRX operates under non-disclosure agreements where required by the client.
Before any engagement, participants receive a full briefing covering the nature of the research, the topics to be discussed, confidentiality requirements, conflict of interest obligations and compensation details.
